Brief info

Tamara Perry is a certified translation professional based in Madrid, Spain. While completing her bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, she studied abroad at the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She holds a Master in Teaching from the Universidad de Alcalá and has completed a course in professional translation at Estudio Sampere Escuela de Traductores e Intérpretes in Madrid. In her spare time, she donates her services to translate and transcribe Ted Talk videos about "ideas worth spreading".

After graduating from Oglethorpe University, she began her professional recruiting career in information technology in Atlanta, where she successfully placed candidates in roles within software development, network communications & support, project management & business analysis and more.  She remained in this role for seven years before relocating to Madrid to teach English.

After a year of teaching,  she returned to the US, this time relocating to the Washington D.C. area. There she began recruiting technology candidates for a number of federal government agencies including the US Department of Agriculture (USDA),  the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the US Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS), the United States Postal Service (USPS), The White House, among others.
